Course Outline​

2-Year Plan to Achieve JLPT N5​

Year 1 – Beginner Level 1

【Target】

Sem.1

  • Master all 50 Japanese syllables and correct pronunciation

  • Basic greetings, self-introductions, and daily expressions

  • Simple grammar (affirmative/negative sentences, questions, particles)

  • Introductory listening practice (recognizing common words and short phrases)

Sem. 2

  • Understand and use expressions for locations such as「ここ」「そこ」「あそこ」
  • Ask about time and prices
  • Express transportation methods and movements
  • Describe daily routines and habits

Sem. 3

  • Make appropriate suggestions and requests

  • Express likes, dislikes, and abilities

  • Use negative forms to talk about things you dislike or cannot do

  • Enrich self-introductions with more complex grammar and vocabulary

Sem. 4

  • Describe the existence and location of objects

  • Use past tense and comparative forms to talk about past experiences and make comparisons

  • Accurately express quantities and frequency

  • Share opinions about travel destinations using descriptive language

  • Can express the relationship between adjectives and verbs.

  • Can convey necessary actions and prohibitions.

  • Can describe rules and regulations.

  • Can use the dictionary form of verbs and understand its basic functions.

Sem. 3

  • Can describe past experiences in detail.

  • Understand the difference between polite form and plain form, and use them appropriately in different contexts.

  • Can operate machines and give directions.

  • Can share personal travel experiences using varied descriptive language.

Sem. 4

  • Can make polite requests and describe others’ actions.

  • Understand the basic concept of noun modification.

  • Can use conditional sentences to express situations.

  • Can introduce family members.
